Mary Frances Hennon

Ms. Mary Frances Hennon, age 82, of 1096 Highway 18 W., Molena, Georgia, formerly of Rome, passed away on Friday evening, February 26, 2010, at a Molena Healthcare Facility.

Ms. Hennon was born in Floyd County on November 2, 1927, daughter of the late Jeff Hennon and the late Zoe Bridges Hennon. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mrs. Beulah Brannon, and Mrs. Ruby Wallace, and by 4 brothers, J. P. Hennon, William Hennon, Arthur Hennon, and Wayne Hennon. Ms Hennon worked for a number of years at West Point Pepperell Manufacturing. She was a member of the East Rome Baptist Church where she was a part of the King's Daughters Sunday School Class.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mildred Roberson and her husband, Lidelle, Molena; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010, at 11 am at the East Rome Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Hinkley officiating. Interment will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens. Ms. Hennon will lie instate at the church on Monday from 10 am until the service time.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 until 5 pm. At other hours they may be contacted at the residence of a niece, Mrs. Vivian Gilbreath, 834 Piedmont Highway, Cedartown.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers and members of the King's Daughters Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. Both active and honoarary pallbearers are asked to assemble at the East Rome Baptist Church on Monday at 10:30 am.
