Karen Evelyn Davis

Mrs. Karen Evelyn Davis, age 67, of 4170 Old Rockmart Road, Silver Creek, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010.

Mrs. Davis was born in Somerset, Kentucky on December 15, 1942, daughter of the late Caleb Stephens, Sr. and the late Evelyn Strunk Stephens. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Whitley City Baptist Church in Kentucky.

Survivors include her husband, Arlis R. Davis, Sr., to whom she was married on June 3, 1960; four children, Barry Davis, Rome, Mrs. Cynthia Bodziak and her husband, John, St. Petersburg, FL, Arlis Davis, Jr. and his wife, Stacy, Rome, and Ellen Cagle and her husband, Bobby, Rome; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Michael Davis, Mathew Reed Davis, Heather Nicole Davis, Allison Bodziak, Erica Davis, Caleb Davis, Casey Cagle, and Cory Cagle; a great granddaughter, Katelyn Davis; five sisters, Margie Brackett, Jeanette Wilson, Georgia Kay Nevels, Kathy Byrd, and Sue Douglas; 3 brothers, Caleb Stephens, Jr., Wendell Scott Stephens, and Michael Stephens; several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
