Ms. Deborah Earlene Bryant Roberson, age 59, 10 Verbena Avenue, Rome, passed away Sunday morning, February 7, 2010 in a local hospital.

Ms. Roberson was born in Floyd County on November 4, 1950, daughter of Desmond Lee Bryant and the late Mildred Minnie Drummond Bryant. She was a Certified Home Day Care Provider, caring for many young children at her home for many years. She was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Erica Nicholson, and her husband, Charles, Rome, and Ms. Katie Roberson, Rome; a son, Brandon Roberson, and his wife, Kelly, Rome; 3 grandchildren, Ansley Nicholson, Glenn Nicholson, III, and Ryan Roberson; her father, Desmond Lee Bryant, Rome; a sister, Ms. Tammy Bryant, Rome; a brother, Wayne Bryant, and his wife, Kathy, Brighton, Colorado; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 11am in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home with her Pastor, the Rev. Stanley Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6 until 8pm. At other hours, they may be contacted at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Erica Nicholson, 2783 Horseleg Creek Road, Rome, GA 30165.

Pallbearers are requested to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday at 10:30am and include: Jimmy Dickinson, Brian McWhorter, Brian Ely, Glenn Nicholson, Sr., Jason Carter, and David Sapp.

Henderson & Sons Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements.
